In Spring of 2010 Houston Pony Parties was purchased by Little Horseshoe Farm.  Our focus has always been mini's for cart rides, petting, and saddle rides to toddlers but this expansion brought to us 2 wonderful larger ponies for saddle rides.   It all started long before this 7 years ago with an idea to share our interest of driving minis.

We spent 2 years training our first working group of  3 minis and developing ideas; we officially went into business 5 years ago.  Then came 2 more working minis to join our herd within the first year.  Currently we have a working group of  9 equine.  5 mini horses, 2 ponies, & 2 donkeys. 

We strive to offer new ideas to our pony parties.  So look for some unique activities in the future.  We currently have 1 mini and 3 donkeys in training for pony parties.  We also show from time to time and are involved in 4-H.  We volunteer occasionaly at  nursing homes.  Our minis have also entertained Special Needs individuals of all ages.  

Horses live 30 -40 years and so many of them change owners multiple times during their life and  for some it is devastating.  Our proceeds go toward the equine that live with us due to a variety of situations and helps us provide them a permanent home.  Our herd ranges in age from 4-23.
